Africa Office — Nsawam
Accra–Kumasi Highway, Nsawam, Eastern Region
The flagship WEF-nexus community under construction — power, water, connectivity and solar street lights.
Flagship initiative
Agri Ecostore takes the whole Water–Energy–Food Nexus and plants it where there is no infrastructure at all — turning land and people into a thriving, self-sustaining community. It is the clearest expression of how Worldtech thinks: don’t wait for the market — create it.
In brief
Agri Ecostore is a flagship WEF-nexus community — solar power, clean water, connectivity, solar-powered shops and market centres, playgrounds and shared spaces — built where there is no infrastructure. Two sites are taking shape: the Africa Office at Nsawam (under construction) and a Regional Office at Mepe, Volta Region.
The idea is simple and ambitious: take a place with no reliable power, water or market, and build the whole system at once. Agri Ecostore brings power, water and connectivity to the site, then layers on the things a local economy actually needs — solar-powered shops and market centres, cold storage for produce, playgrounds and gathering spaces “for life to happen”.
Because every layer runs on solar, the community does not depend on a grid that may never arrive — or that goes dark when dumsor returns. It is the Water–Energy–Food Nexus made physical: one current, powering water, food and trade together.
The first thing many visitors notice is the lighting. Solar street lights run the length of the access road, so the site is safe and active after dark without drawing a watt from the grid. It is a small detail that captures the whole brand: anywhere there is Worldtech, there is light.
On the ground
Agri Ecostore is being built at two locations — both stated as the client states them.
Accra–Kumasi Highway, Nsawam, Eastern Region
The flagship WEF-nexus community under construction — power, water, connectivity and solar street lights.
Mepe, Volta Region
The Volta Region regional office anchoring Agri Ecostore in the south-east.
The thesis
Most development waits for demand to appear before it invests. Worldtech does the opposite. We build the energy, the water, the cold storage and the trading space first — and the market forms around it. A farmer who can store produce will grow more; a community with light and power will trade later into the evening; a site with connectivity attracts services that were never there before.
That is the Agri Ecostore promise, and it is why the model travels: the same blueprint that works at Nsawam can be planted anywhere a community has been overlooked.
