Dumsor — Ghana’s recurring load-shedding — returned in 2024–25. A charging network that depends on the grid inherits every outage. EcoCharge does not: stations are solar-powered with storage, so a passing blackout doesn’t strand a driver mid-charge.

- Does EcoCharge work during dumsor?
- Yes — that is the whole point. EcoCharge stations are solar-powered with storage, so they keep charging your vehicle when the grid goes dark. Outage-proof charging is the reason EcoCharge exists.
- How much does it cost to charge?
- Each station shows its price in the app before you start, so there are no surprises. You only pay for the energy you draw, settled by Mobile Money at the end of the session.
- How do I pay?
- With Mobile Money (MoMo) directly in the app — no card needed. You confirm payment when your session ends.
- What connectors does EcoCharge support?
- The app lists the connectors available at each station so you can confirm compatibility with your vehicle before you reserve and navigate.
- Is EcoCharge part of Worldtech?
